About Guidant Strategies

Guidant Strategies is a public relations and campaign consulting firm specializing in the passage of conservative issues and the election of conservative candidates. Founded in 2006, Guidant Strategies has worked around the country as the general consultant, media, and direct mail consultant on several state and federal campaigns as well as independent expenditures.

Guidant Strategies has been featured in the news as a "one-stop shopping" source for campaign services, and has had many successful incumbent and challenger engagements for governors, congressmen, attorneys general, state legislators and municipal candidates. These successes have come in both primary and general elections. Guidant Strategies has also provided consulting services for statewide ballot measures and independent expenditure efforts.

Jason Powers

The managing partner at Guidant Strategies is Jason Powers. Over a span of two decades he has provided advice, general consulting services, project management, direct mail development and radio ad production for conservative issues and candidates across the nation, building a reputation for a results-oriented approach and winning the tough campaigns.

In addition to Mr. Powers' winning record on conservative campaigns, he brings a wide range of executive consulting experience and best practices from other sectors that he draws upon to make each engagement a successful partnership. That experience includes improving manufacturing processes for the biggest U.S. aircraft company, managing the implementation of a new statewide information system for our nation's largest state, and launching a newly acquired public utility under a new company and new management structure – a project valued at more than $620 million.

Mr. Powers began his management consulting career in 1996. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, with a certificate of management of technology and an emphasis on information systems from the University of Utah. He is a Project Management Professional (PMP) certified by the Project Management Institute
